Love to see an investigation on her misuse of company resources.

It took too long for them to get rid of bow-wow Chow. Had her own agenda which was racist in nature

Zero respect for her. Has a diversity presentation and has her guest speaker use the term “Lilly white”……aren’t we supposed to stand against racism in all forms. Ironic because it came from a master guru on diversity. LMAO!

Fell out of favor with Stankey. She left with a nice package, the likes of which none of us will ever see. Go AT&T!

Going on to fly aircraft at UAL. Good luck, make sure they all know you're an Ivy leager!

Business Services has been on a downward spiral under Chow's leadership. I'm surprised she lasted as long as she did. She was given multiple opportunities to turn things around but she failed time and time again. Hopefully Stankey will put less emphasis on ivy league hires in the future, they just don't perform well at T.

Maybe if she had worried more about the AT&T brand and less about her brand, she might have been successful. These ivy league types like to shove it in your face at every turn, but, but, I went to Harvard! Everyone needs to look up to me in admiration. Malarkey, just do your job.

Too many people with manhood threatened by successful woman in authority.

It just goes to show that an Ivy league education doesn't always equate to success. Business Services results were way below expectations. She was given ample time to turn things around but failed miserably. T has got to start getting the right people in the important positions in this company. Failure is no longer an option time for things to change.

Not a single one of you know why she retired. Maybe she just has had enough and retired while she could. Her executive compensation will treat her well. Maybe ambitions of other service elsewhere.

She was terrible. She deserved to be forced out. She only drained the "culture" further.

“Seriously”?

Yes, seriously.

I get that you don’t like it, it maybe you feel threatened or whatever.

But she is Ivy League educated, minority, and female.

Maybe you haven’t been paying attention, but that’s kind of a trifecta in corporate America today.

And again, I’m not speaking to her leadership ability as I have never worked in her org. That said, I reiterate: it doesn’t matter.

Her brand is a well cultivated media image of a successful business woman, risen through the ranks with ivy league education. It is all managed perceptions, she probably has a team of PR consultants on the side.

Much like other T executives, a lot of fluff and not much substance. She was the CEO of ABS and manages X million of business. Year over year revenue decline has been conveniently dropped, it simply doesn't fit the narrative. If your performance declined year over year, you will be buried in a PIP with your manager watch over your shoulders. Chow and others like her, not so much.

She will be missed by her bank and the large deposits. Others not so much.

Every town hall Legg gives his diversity report card and makes up excuses as to the numbers especially at the top. I'm not commenting on whether Chow deserved the pull or not, but just wondering how Legg is going to spin the numbers next time. He always has an excuse.

She can pretty much write her own ticket anywhere she wants to. She did a heck of a job building her brand while at T, especially the last few years...countless media appearances, the book, the "the first woman of color CEO in AT&T history", etc. etc. I never worked in ger org, can't speak to her leadership abilities either way. But it doesn't really matter anyway. She checks so many sought after boxes. The sky is the limit for her.

Why the comment on Business Services needing a house cleaning? I know there's very little work and they're still hiring technicians, but they are also making money! They spend lots of money as well in operating expenses and don't account for their materials utilized, They give away cable and other billable materials, but still make money. The management in OOR is completely clueless on what BS does or how they do it, that's what needs to be fixed. They seem to be good with their people, but they really need to take the initiative to learn the business. My only complaint with management is that they need to learn every aspect of the business and know what every order entails. I don't know much about upper management in BS, so I can't comment.

Business Services needs a major house cleaning. How did Stankey let this group get so out of control? Sounds like someone wasn't doing their job! Again!

Unfortunately forced. The true results in business services are awful. Most in the segment still believe in Santa Clause. Results are largely self reported, look at competitive trends, we are not even in the same window. It's like driving a minivan and slapping a Rolls Royce emblem on the front and having everyone believe it. Things will improve when the business is further sliced and sold.

Anyone who falls out of favor with Stankey can be guaranteed a short tenure at t. Stankey rules the C-suite with an iron fist.
