The line to take Cube pics is wrapped around the building. My LinkedIn feed is almost exclusively XOM retirements and resignations. Wait until the bonuses get deposited, then the line will wrap around the campus. Good job DW! Mission Accomplished (and then some)!

Spot in about “ they didn't know the work enough to rationalize manpower”. I would also add they don’t know enough of the work to re-organize to be efficient.
The more toxic managers will bolter their position by power grab moves. For example, one business unit have 3 people are doing work of what used to take 1 person. What used to take 2 weeks now take 6 months to do or not at all. Id--t manager brought in his yes- woman and moved out incumbent who spoke up against him. Lost money and opportunities but all this swept under the rug. At EM, everything is flawlessly executed.
Management was adding more positions than they reasonably needed in 2018/2019 because they claimed there was all kinds of work not getting done. They didn't know the work enough to rationalize manpower and eliminate inefficient non-work activities that reduced them. They cried wolf for so long, how will corporate even know they're not repeating that again if they begin to staff up?
I want to point out this is TG’s fantasy come true… until that evil has been banished the company will remain a hellish nightmare for 90% of people.

I have had many conversations with very senior leaders that feel sick in the presence of TG. Vile creature with no idea of how to deal with people.
I guess I'd expect upper management to know what's going on in their company. But it's ok they'll figure it out later. Remember.. sell high.
Our stock price is up, the company is making money, the business is not complaining TO UPPER MGMT about work not getting done due to a decrease in employees.
