15yr+ vet of the bank— I got an email from my manager that said if people don’t come in, it would be a voluntary termination. Basically, get in, or you are deemed to have exercised your right to leave. This isn’t Musk, it’s stagecoach rider management.

I will assume that management has assumed that I have resigned, and so I will stop working, under the assumption that because they have assumed that I have resigned, they are no longer paying me. That assumption rests on the assumption that management is competent enough to figure out that I'm no longer working, while also assuming that the convoluted internal processes are functional to the point where they can catch up to the fact that I've actually (not "assumed") to have resigned.
