Bala was just named Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer for UPS.
Hope he takes his crew with him. Those people suck. Then they act like anyone that’s from T doesn’t know what they are doing. Give me a break, these folks have no clue about our products and never have. Bye bye.
Who cares
I hope he takes the people he has hired (L3+) in the last 4 years with him.
There really is a Santa Claus!
Boyer is to say it nicely less than competent and a ladies man
I could write a book about Bala. He came from Best Buy and almost immediately tried to change the culture but he never seemed to have a master plan. He wanted to run the organization like a start up and nothing in AT&T is run like a start up. He made many bad hires in the L3+ ranks, at one point cut 1/3 of the organization (which crippled execution) and never seemed to have a coherent strategy about what the organization was doing. The cuts also demoralized his organization because the people he cut were some of the best people in the company. If they were shown the door despite their performance; nobody had a chance. The people became toxic because of the constant reorganizations and layoffs. I'm talking about on average a reorg every quarter. He was moved under Eric Boyer to try and get more structure and measurable execution in the organization. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. He won't be missed.
They brought him in from Best Buy to transform the online user experience. We didn’t deal with him directly but with the L2-L5 members of his team. They were some of the most toxic people I dealt with in my 25+ year tenure at T. Good riddance.
He knew it was coming.
Interesting, this person is not in Outlook or webphone, not even with a fuzzy search
OUCH! That's gonna leave a mark! Just kidding, good riddence! Don't let the door hit you on your way out!
