Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Freight Push

Kath and other execs keep saying they want to raise our revenue passed 100B towards 150B in the next few years. I feel like the freight Push is just a ploy to increase sales - every category is overskued with random items, getting trucks with 6-12 of the same item. Are we really going to believe that a huge company like ours can't orchestrate freight flow? Seems like a lie.

Like Kath is even going to be around in 5 years. She’ll be gone like every other CEO. They never last long. Get their millions, stock options, etc., pad their resume and peace out.

We have to run 3-4 trucks every morning and keeping getting the same items. Were at the point where we have no space left in the reserve locations. This then backs ups out dock and trucks.

At least from the Sam's Club side of the house 100B to 150B is not going to happen anytime soon. This has been a goal for the company since about 2011, when they started shutting clubs and there is no sign of any new and or previously closed clubs being opened.

They won’t sell it at a loss, they will liquidate it. Liquidation is outta control. Everyone’s answer to getting rid of the cr-p. “Oh, just liquidate it.”

How many of you watch the news, I'm guessing none. Since it's well known that ALL retailers are getting stuck with freight. Freight has to be ordered months in advance. No retailers were prepared for the Democrat inflation tax. Now no one can afford to shop. No one can afford gas. When gas goes up shipping freight cost go up. Which means retailers are stuck with the merchandise. They'll soon be forced to sell items at a loss which means money comes out of the bottom line, leading to cutting the staff even further and possibly supervisors and managers being reduced.

The more you know.
