Thread regarding Ford layoffs

The main issue is upper management

If we want to see Ford get back on track, then the entire upper management and executives need to be replaced with people who know how to run a company of this size and importance. All of our problems stem from the incompetence of those who're running the show. Until that problem is solved, we're stuck.

Farley and Hackett ran all the other good folks out of town.. Hau is probably the most technical savvy non bull sh-t leader waiting in the wings...Probably the closest we will ever get to Mulally. This is what happens when you let spin, shiny and new be your plan. Build vehicles with value and lots of them. Use any many common parts and processes as possible. You have to wonder how many times you can throw your customers under the bus before you run out of customers. This EV fantasy will blow up real good once folks realize electricity is not free.

You got to leave your cds with the same comments you left everywhere. Your golden opportunity to

(1) get fired for violating social media policy by HR, or
(2) got promoted. They need bodies can write like you.

To OP: I agree! Happy to say that the leadership transformation to go with the company transformation is happening right now. Just look at the new leaders Ford has brought into key positions in the future growth areas of Ford (data, mobility, electrification, software, etc). Doug Field is a perfect example to lead our most important group for Ford, Model e, which has all of these growth segments.

Bill needs to retire. He can then focus on his charity and PAC activities.

Well, Farley came in second at a race….not a winner. How is his podcast doing, is anybody listening? Wouldn’t it be great to have a CEO that is first at something, other than spinning bad news into good news with the help of the Detroit Free Ford Press?

We sold 80,000 fewer vehicles the first half of 2022 than we did in 2021. THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS.
