IBM Salary - Good Information Source

Here is a good source of salary info for IBM. In short, the company is required to disclose salary info for all H1B visa applicants. This is logged in a gov database that's available for download. For example, we have 202 IBM salaries reported for 2022 and you can see it at the site here:

Very low salaries, but that is expected as it is what IBM wants... workers for low pay.

Not sure this is super helpful.

Most H1B visa applicants accept compensation that is less than peers who happen to have permanent residency or are US citizens. In fact, the majority come to the US for 3 key reasons: higher pay than back home (this could be through salary adjustments or COLA), path towards a promotion (vs. being in India, Philippines, etc.) and, of course, a path to US permanent residency (green card) and, later on, citizenship - not only for them but also for their spouses and children.
