So we are awash with cash; we are wasting money on share buy backs. Sounds like Darren doesn’t want to increase structural, costs except for himself. Why don’t they give a proper one off bonus to share the upside given we all felt the downside

No 3% bonus if you don't work in America...
Share buybacks are not "wasting money". Dividend payments are one of the company's largest expenses, and reducing the share count decreases them. If oil prices drop again, this action will reduce how much the company needs to borrow to continue paying them. They also, of course, increase returns to investors and so increase the multiple that investors are willing to use when investing in the company and so decrease the cost of capital for future projects.

Unless you are a protected person like her and can literally tell DW what to do you are f’ed. find a company that rewards you bc clearly EM with its circa 2010 salaries isn’t going to as long as TG is there with DW being to afraid to say anything to her.
Someone mentioned a rumor the 3% might be repeated again in the fourth quarter. We are losing the retention wars.
One year we got -7% due to halt of 401k matching. Then we get 3% this year. The company takes more than gives.
Only Salaried got 3%, Hourly didn't get anything yet. Hourly supposedly are paid above the average wage for comparable positions. Would be nice to see a cost of living increase but I wouldn't expect any. I will just go to work and if I ever get where I don't like my job I will leave.
Every employee should get 3% per month during times of profit.
