Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Amazing...

...how out of touch SLT really is. During a visit from Adi, he said they are working hard to retain top talent... hmmm, have you tried PAYING THEM BETTER? When the bank arbitrarily decides to give raises to low income, low paying positions, and completely shafts the talent Adi seeks to supposedly keep, I honestly wonder how hard they are really working to retain top talent.

Here's an idea, inflation, this economy, doesn't just effect low income earners. A family of 4 with a single high earning income is just as much effected as others.

You really think Aditya the bu@@ kisser would inspire anyone to stay or he cares about anyone but his ego. More women have complained about him and he has a problem with women who are smarter than him… which there are a lot.

I went to the meet up just for a couple of minutes, get free doughnut and coffee. Then went back to work. It would be a waste of time to stay and listen to scripted monologue.

They know what they need to do to retain top talent...WFH. It's not hard to figure out and I hope all this shows in the company survey or will they sugar coat it and give false results like they did with the WFH survey. I believe the said people love coming to the office. WHO?

Here’s the thing when SLT come to town. They already have their script and stick to it. They don’t care what you have to say. Truthfully most questions asked they aren’t sure what you are asking because they don’t know the job.
The visits are another thing they check off their list. Nothing really comes of it. You will get a treat to celebrate them coming in town and then off they go.

Just curious but did anyone ask him to elaborate / give specific examples of how?!

It was very unjust to skip the people just over 100,00 but pay someone making 99,999 and $7000 just like that. The people making 100,000 are already paying DOUBLE for health insurance and had childcare benefits removed. A single mom with kids this means a loss of $1100 a month as punishment for working hard and being loyal. Add in being left out of the $3-7000 pay increase and no wonder people are looking for options. It pains me to hear how sad and demoralized my colleagues are.

It is that time for SLT to get out there and thank everyone, have a party then cut you at the knees.
So out of touch.

Our group has extremely high turnover due to it being a high stress, high profile position, and instead of doing something to keep people, we are not bleeding folks but are having a hard time filling positions, they simply think a "thanks, I know you guys are working hard" will suffice.
