A colleague of mine had NSI communicated during this week. The supervisors aren’t stupid. They are going to mix it up.
Now for a one off instance (such as firing for cause), they’ll prob do it on a Friday afternoon. However, there will be no rhyme or reason for a mass occurrence like this.
My communication is next Friday…maybe I should reschedule for good luck.
This Friday? Or next Friday?
The Bob's always show up on Friday...
Yes
I determined I was the last person to get my review in my group....aka you suck, will you just retire. Please don't risk the PIP.
Sneaky, sleazy management.
Karma got supervisor a few months later. I was pleased. She thought my performance was bad. At least I didn't allow 1.5 million in IT assets get stolen under my watch.
In Annandale yes
random based upon scheduling around people's availability.
If it's in TX, I certainly hope so.
Need that cooling off period.
Nothing dictates Friday
Everyone I know piped was on a Friday or the last person to recieve feedback. It is easier this way. It is usually late at the end of the week. The high fliers are told at the start of the feedback sessions.
I don't think there's anything particularly systematic. Individual supervisors book feedback meetings, so it varies based on what they decide to do.
