Thread regarding Ford layoffs

100% of Mach-Es built have been recalled

“In June, Ford issued a recall affecting 48,924 or 100% of the 2021-22 Mustang Mach-E electric SUVs built during a two-year time period that could lose power while driving or not start.”

We used too cancel vehicles that sold that few over two years. It is no wonder we lose money on every single EV we produce.

So what you are saying seems to that since the Mach-E is a “legacy” vehicle, customers should expect poor quality. Got it. 🤣

Mustang Mach E is not considered to be the state of the art for Ford in the EV space. It actually has much old technology and could be considered a legacy based vehicle. Anyone in the know knows this.

Therefore do not forecast the next generation of EV mobility and services from Ford Model e will have difficulties like this.

Our ICE vehicles, which we've built for 119 years, get recalled at a high rate. How anyone thought the Mach-E and Lightning would rollout smoothly is beyond me. These vehicles are a technology that Ford has NO experience with. If you signed up to buy these vehicles for the first couple of model years, then the joke is on you!

NO NO NO! Please you can't cancel fords dream and savior the mach e!

Anyone who buys an EV, in my opinion is hoping for more, but sadly mistaken especially when you realize you have to burn coal to power the charging station.
Evs may be ok in a large city surrounded by mountains otherwise a flop and dud.... what a waste of funds. But hey the cho cho sta is cool!
