Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

8.8% Inflation in June 2022 - But Over 100’’s Ignored

Record inflation, the highest in 40 years. The bank gives a COLA to some employees and not others. I get that we need to please the shareholders. WTF though. My 100k only has 91.2k of spending power. I pay double for medical and get not childcare assistance (a further discrepancy of. Up to 10k a year).

Someone making 99,999 got a 7k increase, gets free childcare and 1/2 price medical.

What about a single parent working thier a-s off at 100,000k. I didn’t get this far by accident only to get sh-t on. I would be better off being a being a mediocre employee, bobbing along the bottom of the BofA society.

I am a single parent making JUST over $100k. Insult to obvious injury is that I’m the lowest paid in my workgroup and my former employees are earning best $150. So much for staying with one company but I needed the stability. I actually cried more than once over this.
