Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

It didn't bother me that much before

Even before the pandemic, I had a hard time tolerating some things in the office, but I guess I was used to them and tried to ignore them in order to keep my peace and be able to do my job well. However, after the pandemic, and after RTO, I wonder why these same things bother me even more now, to such an extent that I intend to leave? How did I ever put up with them before?

You tolerated it before because you didn't know that things could be any different. Now you do.

You adjust. Eventually your mind will adapt to accept it, someday you might even find you enjoy it, but only if you like your job. If you dislike the work you do AND don’t want to work around other people doing it, maybe it’s time to stop waiting for the bank to control when you leave.

I get more bothered now when someone sneezes without covering their mouth near me versus someone on the road almost hitting me

Totally agree!!! Same nasty habits. Closed quarter meetings. Not covering mouth when sneezing or coughing. Trash everywhere. The fake “ we care” emails.
It’s too much.
