I am still an active employee. We were told our $10 DTV was going away months ago. I’m still paying $10. Classic T flawed execution on a plan.

If you don't like my whining, you can leave anytime you want.

Stink may try to back bill you. His mistake may be your pain. That’s T.

I fired DirecTV when my 2 year commitment expired and they tried to raise the mo. price upwards $175.
I used the providers "app" to stream to other TV's in house & for family members in other cities & even States.
We have been streaming on at least 5 TV's for years as evidently the app owner didn't get the DirecTV termination message.
For those who claim theft, no at&t/DirecTV just didn't do THEIR JOB. I wonder if they "rightsized" the wrong people?

I’m getting DTV streaming for free. They took my DTV discount away but never mentioned anything about my free streaming. I like the streaming better than the satellite service.

"Extra bonus- shifted my 401K and pension into protected annuities before the market crashed."... I'm so sorry. "Far more money has been lost by investors trying to anticipate corrections, than has been lost in corrections themselves." Peter Ly--h ... So you perfectly time your sell at the top of the market? And sounds like you are stuck with an annuity that will underperform the S&P 500 over time. If not stuck in annuities, I'm sure you will be able to time your buy back into the market at its bottom. And will your annuities pass to your beneficiaries when you die?... Again, so sorry.

I didn't retire. Took new job with big base salary and bonus bump. Better health care benefits. Upgrade all way around. Glad to have left sinking ship but still get the employee discounts. Extra bonus- shifted my 401K and pension into protected annuities before the market crashed. Of course I can’t do anything about the drop in value of T stock in the time I was there.

Good for you. Enjoy as long as you can. Hope you will save enough to cover for losses in you portfolio that went down big time this year. You lost your job and your wealth when you made that wise decision to retire.

Legacy DTV here who left in late 2021 and still hasn’t been billed for my service. In fact, I have a $5 credit on my account (due to an RSN drop). I was told when I left I’d be charged within 30 days of my departure. Never happened. You can call BS all you want. It doesn’t change that I haven’t paid for TV in years.
