I don't understand why there's talk about layoffs when we're doing great. The stock is up by nearly 20 percent year-over-year and all I've read about tomorrow's expected earnings are good things. If we are hearing about layoffs when things are going this well, that means the only reason for them is greed. Nothing else. That shouldn't be the case, but sadly, here we are.

I am a former UHC employee and departed in a RIFF. When I got home that day I turned on the TV to hear that UHG just reached a new 52 week high.

The company was doing fantastic when I was laid off. That's why they do fantastic. They cut people and then find lower paying replacements offshore.
100+ people lost their job last week. I am one of those. There may not be TALKS of layoffs. But they are happening, regardless of what they're calling them.
