The new PIP seems to be the semi annual reflections. IF your manager marks your reflection in any area as "expects more" you might as well be actively looking for a new job.

Heartbreaking and frustrating as it may be, stock prices and revenues are the goals of any business. Keep you chin up and keep your eyes open for new opportunities!

Anyone that thinks performance is a factor in remaining employed at IBM is delusional. I have seen multiple people over the years who were perineal 100% Clubbers let go at the drop of a dime. It's called voluntary employment for a reason. The voluntary part is on both sides. Best advice is to be always looking/networking and always be ready. Especially from a financial standpoint. That way if you feel you have been unjustly dealt with you won't need the paltry blood money. Once you've sign the separation agreement you'll have NO legal recourse whatsoever end of story.

Believe me you are never going to be transferred if you have been PIPd Managers will tell you otherwise, they have to in order to avoid lawsuits. But you have been blackballed You just haven't figured it out yet.

No such luck but I did request to change teams and it was approved. If I don't find anything by end of August then they can only fire you based on performance. So if you're performing reasonably well, it's very difficult to get cut like that.

Looks like going "all in" with Red Hat & Hybrid Cloud did not save the day.

RAs are typically 3rd Thur of second month. IBM would rather fire you for performance so no severance would be required. Either way the goal is to separate you EOQ. Schedule would be PIP you in time to show you the door end of Sept.
