Our id--t manager called everyone in one office in for a planning session. Spent several hours with what amounts to about 40% of the team in a conference room together with the rest of us on video. You can guess what happens next.
About half of them are out sick and the others sound like they’re next. But hey, RTO!
MTuesF, but may change to MThF.
Alternating weeks. By force - not by choice. When in office, sitting in a cube all by myself with no one within 50 yards of me. Team is scattered across the country. 90 minutes on the road each day. Money wasted at the gas pump. No time to exercise when I get home. The epitome of senseless and stupid.
Word on the street is that some business groups are pulling back on enforcing RTO. Rumor has it that badge swipes and LAN are not being checked at the manager level. I am not at the same site as anyone else in my business group. I go in for about 2 hours a day, 3 times a week.
I know of an office where RTO was 3 days a week. Now down to 2. Why? Because another occupant of the space is obnoxiously loud. The working environment is intolerable. He knows it and could care less. This person is not hearing impaired and is capable of speaking at a lower volume but refuses to do so. Different manager than the majority of the individuals sharing the cubicle space. So much for RTO.

We have all of our meetings in Teams or Skype. Nothing ever in person.
Recently I've noticed that Monday occupancy is slightly higher than Tuesday. I think the word is out that Mondays were quieter with less people in the building and more started coming in that day. Friday is still good though. No one wants to go to the office on a Friday.
I'd wager that 90%+ of people that are there are only coming in because of RTO requirements / pressure from the manager. In the building I'm in, occupancy is about 10%. Of all the employees I see there is one coffee cup carrying socialite walking around happy as a clam with RTO. He's on site 5 days a week because he likes it. Literally everyone else just has their head down trying to avoid other people and get some work done with minimal distractions. FRTO.
I change up going in two half days per week. Usually like to do two back to back days whether it's Mon/Tues or Thurs/Fri, but sometimes it's Mon/Fri since those are the best traffic days.
Does anyone go in the office just because you have to? My team is not even in the city I am in.

I have a co worker who just won't stfu. At least 15 minutes each morning this person talks to the person in front, then to both sides. I could go on but we have all seen this. Oh, this person LOVES RTO.
The problem with that is when people want that face to face meeting. And all the key players need to be there.
Tuesday and Thursday at home.
Monday and Friday are generally quiet in the office, which suits my introvert personality. Wednesday I pinch my nose, head in and try to get work done while my coworker blathers on and on all day about nothing particular and then complains that they have so much work to do. Wednesday is easily the least productive day for me all week, but hey, "collaboration."
Varies each week. Try to go into the office once a week. Some weeks successful, some not. Never heard anything from leadership either way.
I don't have to do anything I don't want to do. Remote 4 Ever.
Introvert days in office are Monday and Friday. WFH the rest of the time, throw in a wasted PTO day because the CEO is an a-s.
All of them. I haven't set foot in a WF building in years and don't know that I ever will again.

F RTO, just fire me.

We don't do assigned days in our LOB, because we are adults capable of making our own decisions. If everyone's out of office on a particular day, then so be it.
all of the days. F rto.
Depends on the week. Last week Tuesday. This week T-Th.
Gaming the system, WFH all days.
No days per week. I just wfh.
Everyone mapped under our SVP is supposed to come in Tues-Wed, and we have to come in three days total, the third being up to us. In practice the Tues-Wed requirement is somewhat flexible, so long as we’re averaging 3 days in office. I usually WFH Monday and Friday.
Did your manager let you chose or were those days assigned to you?
Monday and Friday, although Thursday and Friday have been kind of appealing to me lately. I might switch.. if I don’t get laid off first. 🤞🏼
Thursday & Friday generally
