Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

My manager doesn't understand why so many people are leaving

He was commenting on how we're still losing people in a declining economy and he can't understand why. I nodded my head while thinking that maybe, just maybe, years of layoffs, no career progression, low raises, and now being forced to RTO for no good reason could have something to do with it. They really are that clueless.

@1lxf+1hNq39oh Pretty sure everyone has been saying that to their managers. Do you think any of them actually listen, or if they do, that they would do anything about it?

Why don't you share your thoughts with your manager vs posting here.

@jch+1hNq39oh Honestly can’t wait for my day to do the same. Is there an exit interview process here? If so, oh boy!!

I heard one manager say that reports of people leaving is fake news…..yet the floor has less people now than in June when everyone was forced to come back….

They aren’t clueless, they’re too lazy and stupid to consider solutions. If you pretend to not understand a problem then you have no responsibility to fix it. Any good manager would understand and empathize with the employees and do what they can to advocate for a better work environment, provide flexibility and listen when people tell them what’s wrong. But head in the sand and playing stupid is easier.
