Multiple cuts this year for salary. Downsizing and reorgs for the 4th or 5th year in a row. This is not affecting the UAW. Perhaps it's time we finally join them and stop being bullied from upper management.

Where you will continue to be the punching ball since no union. lol
No thank you to unionization. Thats for people with no skills. If i get laid off my skills will get me hired elsewhere.
But the replacements were already onboarded in AP , Mexico, Brazil, China. Strike Farley wont care — Picket at some venue which will cause him public embarrassment like one of his races or PR award ceremony. Do the same for Bill
Hey I got a great idea! Go on strike
In the 1990's I was at Ford of Belfast, Ireland helping fix oil pump casting issues. The engineers were unionized, getting them to work unpaid OT on a Saturday was a chore.
Don't think there are many Ford salaried employees in Northern Ireland anymore.
Never. Engineers are too full of themselves think they can solve the problem without resorting to collective bargaining.
The issue with salaried unionizing is no one is willing to take the risk of leading the task of unionizing. Sure, by law, Ford can’t interfere, but that is not how it works. Whoever leads this will be all over the news, will get death threats, Ford will make up some bogus excuse or setup the person and the person will be fired and Ford will ruin his or her reputation. I can understand why no one is willing to take this risk.
It would be a shame if the Tesla salaried workers unionized before we did. We should set a good example.
Might help with losing work to Mexico and India...
