Wonder how many times the layoff question will come up today. I usually don't watch them but I'm interested to see if it's even acknowledged

I remember when we were invited to a meeting where our achievements were acknowledged by a director. It took 30 seconds. It was over so quickly I didn't even realize. They moved on to the next agenda item when one gal realized I was still on. She said "whoever you are, remove yourself!".
That's when I knew nothing matters.
In regards to your job and family: share price and how the press talks about the company is what matters. Hire and fire is the widely accepted policy here.
Yet another canned response. I'm sure they'll "communicate" as soon as possible. Meanwhile, everyone is rightfully panicked, and not focusing on the work in front of them because they're very concerned about their livelihoods and how soon/who this is going to affect.
Someone with some conviction needs to step up and actually address it to the employees so that people who may be affected can start making arrangements and not get totally screwed.
They knew in March. They have the numbers. Now they fake surprise about how unfortunate to have a distracting leak.
They wont even extend the professional courtesy of a timeframe in which it will be addressed.
It was mentioned in a non-informative cold way as expected. I find it amazing that a long discussion on APEAL was done in the meeting that showed how bad Ford is doing. And now the engineering staff is going to be gutted even more. So how is this stuff going to be addressed? The bottom line is more important than quality or APEAL right now, so why waste time talking about APEAL?
The same message Farley already shared and even a non-committal about when the layoffs will be shared - sorry, these bandaids need to be ripped off or addressed publicly because moral is awful. Very disappointed that Ford wants to drag this out each and every day since this broke in the news last week. They even elaborated that it’s coming from all divisions, not just Ford Blue. I’m also nervous that whatever remaining talent is going to move away towards Ford because we cannot deploy this strategy.
Kumar just mentioned that all cuts are NOT tied to Ford Blue only, but also Model E. They are also global numbers, not just NA
I can almost guarantee it won't get touched on much, if at all. The Blue meetings are nothing but fluff.
Not even a blip yet. You'd think it would be addressed right away. It will probably be ignored.
