Young attacking the old for not retiring, old attacking the young for being entitled, those who want to leave attacking the rest for not looking for a way out and saying it's their own fault if they're laid off... Every single one of us is in this together. How hard is it to show some kindness to each other at a time like this?

It's funny because 20+ years ago I was one of those young bucks with 3 years in, ready to take on the world and complaining about those old timers. After living through four or five of these restructuring fiascos, watching the heads roll and being told that we're a family I understand why those old timers were bitter and jaded.
People, en masse, are stupid. Their thought processes trained by the media they consume. They know no longer know any other way if thinking.
Funny how the OP points out that we’re all in this together so there’s no need for naming calling and insults and many of the responses are insults, name calling and racists posts.
I’ve noticed that when I post something suggesting we don’t need the name calling and politically divisive posts it’s gets more down than up responses. That’s tells us something about some/many people who visit here.
Generation blaming the generation before them is nothing new. It's ongoing blame. The next generation will blame the current one and the battle will continue.

@tiq The cuts in April were made well above the LL6's head. They didn't find out about them until they were happening. My theory is this was done to keep it quiet until D-Day but it was demoralizing to us LL6s who lost good people when we might have volunteered a different person if given the choice.
Most of the whites are racists even if they don’t show that.

It's just a waste of energy. If you are an LL6 then the only person that likely has say on whether you stay or go is the LL5 above you. If you are GSR then your LL6 is the person you need to please
