Correct to the smoke and mirrors comments. It is all Financial Engineering. We know first hand the financial numbers posted are "baked". Wait till the IRS steps in with all the new funding they are getting.....
Quality is getting past the warranty period to them. A majority of sales are leases. I would guess 80% or more. If you lease, all you care about is the car makes it two years.
Think our quality is bad now, ohhh it is getting worse. Between the distraction and te---r they are putting the US workers through and then of course all the Mexican workers that totally blow off anything asked of them. Total BS on Ford of MX crowing about their excellence. You can't get them to do their jobs, answer a phone, or even attend a meeting about a critical issue.

It's all about earnings, earnings, earnings! Got to cut costs and get real lean without hurting quality. 😳
