Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Leadership turnover and layoffs

Never seen so much change in our leadership.
Sampath will be replacing Hans within one year.

The 10 year decline on this company rests squarely with our leadership and the billions of dollars wasted with bad acquisitions. Yet, the employees end up paying the price while the leaders walk away with golden parachutes.

Let’s see how Sampaths bluejeans $500m acquisition from March 2020 works out. We put hundreds of millions into it and the revenue has yet to come.

We said they should have purchased a security company years ago but nope they bought Yahoo. Security is the only area still growing

@rgr+1haJOUwL Exactly! I work with scrum masters and project managers from Offshore daily. They can barely put together coherent sentences. We have to go back into j-r- and correct the comments or remarks. Now we have a leader from my understanding has little respect for our culture.

I agree with you. Too many instances where Indians hired without real checks ans balances

The snowflakes in this case were not protected species. I can see how all the D' break credo every day

He'll even the svp 2 years ago told what else can you do beside work. He basically instutionalized slavery in IT and then oddly enough same guy goes through meditation exercise on q1 in all hands

Total douche bag. And he openly threatens directors to fire them. Lol, the D's are always sh-----g bricks. The D in turn threatens and abuses their employees

Rinse and Repeat. The employee fears for their Job stays with their abuser. The few smart ones leave before one spends a lifetime

No credo here if you treat people like animals. Maybe some of us who were born here know how to treat humans and animals alike, with empathy

You can say what you want. Most Indians that work here are worthless. Most got hired site unseen. Look at the IT org charts and drill down. Names you can pronounce. Most can't complete a job without hand holding. Sempath will never be CEO, the board will not have it. Someone should investigate Shanks and Vivik for their shady IBM deal that's garbage. Look luck down the road....

Let's say both had credo problems :)

They were white as snow and replacement flavor are curry spice.

Every problem is an opportunity!

The Indians turned to an open air toilet like where they come from. Graft and nepotism is second nature.

Half the Indians have their wives or some familly working in IT. Projects are given to Indian IT companies. They should investigate their relatives iof executives n india for kickbacks.

Can you imagine 100s of millions of dollars in contracts where most times the job they are hired for is probably never completed or half done.

Two directors already got the boot in last 30 plus days.

The board and Hans are blind to the incompetence. He gets his 40million and the board gets their few hundred k to waste shareholders money.

We also said years ago they should buy or build a fintech along with Security to complement Edgecast. Nope. AOL, Yahoo, faux G and at least tens of millions on management consultants who told people what they already knew, in pretty slides and then sold the IP to Comcast who actually built much of what was funded as research or recommendations to vz. Wtf.
