I heard that as you go up the ladder, you pension increases - is this true?

Pension no. However Director and about are on the Executive compensation plan, which includes some options to defer income from Stock awards and redirect part of their annual bonus to deferred plan.

@adt, If you have decade or more before retirement you'll look back at this period as a generational buying opportunity. You should be looking at this with a different perspective and try to invest more of your income for your future.

It's based on your salary but mine as L2 and L3 the company contribute the same % of salary

Pension? What is that? Most of us under 50 years old have never had pensions. All we get are 401k which right now market is doing horrible. All the money I set aside this year I have already lost in market slide and more.
