Anything about it. From what I can tell about half of my department is doing the same telling higher ups to go stick it.

I’m sure the people that want everyone to go in the office are working from home, so you’ll probably be able to get away with telecommuting for quite a while.
Worked from home 3-4 days a week for several years, and on exit interview at retirement, my boss thought I was going in every day. LOL....
Can’t fire everyone. Bout all they could do is turn off vpn then you’d be forced in or quit

If your job can be done from home that’s great!…until T only wants to hire people who’s home is in India.
full time in office is stupid. no need for it in companies like att and certain workers.

Not going back, either. Actually, I was hired as a telecommuter so I never really had an office, although I have gone to the zone for special meetings in the past. Covid is high; gas prices are astronomical. Because of the distance to the collaboration zone, it would cost me over $253 a week to commute 3 days a week. For the past 10 years or so, all of my coworkers are thousands of miles away, so it makes no sense for me to waste money and time commuting to a building to have conference calls that I can just as well have in my home. I'm fortunate in that my job can be done just as easily in a home office than in a corporate office. I am also fortunate to have technical skills that are in high demand. While that doesn't apply to everyone, I think, with the gas price situation, ATT should not be forcing anyone into the office if their work can be done productively at home. And for the record, I put in far more hours as a telecommuter than I would be able to do as an office worker, so ATT is better off with me working remotely. If the policy I've been working under changes, I will part ways with ATT. There are many other remote positions available for my skill set. I hope it doesn't come to that, because I really do like my job, but that's my tipping point.
If your supervisor can not determine you are working more at home than driving tired to an office, chatting with co-workers, going out for lunch; the supervisor is unqualified and should be surplussed. Only issue is his boss probably promoted him and does not want to look bad.
