Covid positive

How long does someone have to be off if tested positive for Covid? The wonderful one Walmart app sucks and can’t get an answer there

We have three people and perhaps more out with COVID. We are not even being advised any longer. Quite irresponsible of Corporate and our mgt.

I was told I could return to work as soon as I feel better. I was also told there is no covid absence pay.

Wanted to add to post below, use Sedgwick even if you are going to put in PTO to be paid. PTO only is approved for pay not for excusing an absence.

The day you test positive or start showing symptoms, with or without a fever is considered day zero, you are out for five days following day zero. Call Sedgwick for LOA to stop your point accumulation. Notify your manager and use the callout line for each day.

If your showing no symptoms, they really don't care. If you took one if those store bought or free home tests, read the back of it. It says this test is more than likely to give a false negative. So what happens if you test positive?
