How many are going to office, swiping, and just going home?

They always check VPN. Even pre-Covid. This has been a standard report for DECADES.

If you got this route, keep your VPN time within your time zone's 8am-5pm to < 40 hrs/week.

And <70 hrs/month.

The question is, will they start checking VPN hours at some point?

Yep. Walk over swipe in walk out other side.

Know plenty who do it.

Yes. If you already have driven there and have a parking pass or free parking it makes sense to stay there a while. If you have to pay $30 to $50 a day (Chicago) vs $3 dollars for 15 minutes it makes perfect sense to swipe and go.....

If you are going to take the time/spend the money to drive there then you may as well stay there for awhile.

There is no such as swipe out time (othet than when computer disconnects) in Charlotte, Jacksonville or Dallas that I am aware of...

Doesn't seem wise. If they can check swipe-in time, they can check swipe-out time too.
