They should really stop referring to it as "health insurance" since the medical plan is not worth the paper it is written on. If there is any time in your life in which you need to seriously use it for yourself or your family then you can guarantee that you will be bombarded with huge bills for which the insurance did not cover. In that instance be prepared to cough up thousands upon thousands of dollars out of pocket.
In reality we are being asked to pay outrageous prices for health coverage that does not really cover much. This isn't "insurance"... it's an incredibly overpriced discount plan masquerading as health insurance. The health plan here is a gigantic scam...

I don't know what SBG the OP is in, but in SPS Intelligrated, Honeywell is taking away the extra compensation that was paid to the legacy Intelligrated employees due to Honeywell's more expensive health insurance. For some folks, that is adds up to a 1.4% pay reduction for me. Probably more for those with higher end insurance plans.
