Loved EB's line about having tea and lunch brought to her (she said "you", but no one I know has that at home, let alone in the office.) If that's how she gets treated for in-person, I guess that's why she doesn't understand why there's any resistance to it.)

The "75% like the current schedule" was either artful or awful wording. 75% like it better than full time in person. Ask again next time about how many like it better than more WFH options, then talk to us about the results.

Lovely dodge when asked about the loss of knowledgebase due to retirements and other attrition. First rate, very subtle. 8/10.

I think when push comes to shove and corporate needs must be met, EB is even tougher than JG was. He was all talk. She will bulldoze you before you know it.

@2lfu if they do another ROM anytime soon few people will go through it. They will roll out as fast as they can.

I miss JG. I just have to wonder what he would say about return to the office. I can tell you if they try to get people back in the office 5 days a week they will have only managers left and nearly empty buildings after the attrition that will hit.

The gauntlet has been thrown down. Show up or else.

Nice threat she dropped during the session. Pretty much said that the 3 day hybrid is here to stay and not going to 2 days (except for those groups that got LT exceptions).

The threat was if more people don't actually come in for the 3 or 2 days they are supposed to be in the office, they may get rid of hybrid altogether and force everyone to come in 5 days a week.

I'll bet they also do another re-org with a ROM component and THAT will force folks to show up more to be seen.

This article is on point with that: https://www.inc.com/jessica-stillman/remote-work-policy-stanford-study.html

Attrition is awful and management seems clueless or just doesn't care enough to try to fix it. The town hall showed that.

Basically I got out of it we desperately "need" to collaborate at the office or thr company will fold. Working in the office is super critical and management said we will do it period. This is even though its been proven we can work from home just fine. Remote work and more time with family is the way of the future while management is still set in the past. 75% want to be back in the office is definitely not true.

do you ever get anything out of townhalls? they're all the same. new VP is less polarizing and maybe more likable than old VP. but all townhalls are the same.

More US jobs will get outsourced to Manila and BA if the costs keep going up. From the tone inflation is hurting the bottom line.

75% like the return to work. Still up to the teams to choose. I just hope they don’t force 3 days just because some teams are not following. Rather they have certain members come in more then others.

Lotta people mentioned how more people are leaving then joining teams.
