Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Until when did competence mean something here?

This is good news for mediocrities, that they can be very comfortable at BofA even though they lack skills. There are still great employees here, but mediocrities are on the rise and employee competencies have not been important for a long time now. Unfortunately, I hear from former colleagues that the situation at other banks is not much different with regards to this either.

It’s called diversity and inclusion. The bank doesn’t care if you have experience or not as long as you fall within the quota for that. No experience required. It’s very obvious.
