Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How much longer ?

How long can a company pay field services techs to drive around and do very little work? Term employees are virtually brain dead. What percentage of techs enjoy doing little to no work? Is that rewarding? What about the stockholders that own this company paying out millions in wages for nothing ?

All those oven dwellers of “I am the greatest” world can get a transfer to Alaska. Then you can complain about frostbite. Booo hoooo

Thanks for those macho men that pull in drops in 100 degree weather and keep the world from sinking into the ocean. Without them I wouldn’t be enjoying another day of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy in my favorites air conditioned restaurant. Then taking my nap, then having a cold one, then calling it a day.

Those that bust but and then complain about others are what you call narcissistic egomaniacs. The company would still operate without them prima donnas. Nobody is indispensable.

very little work ? I'd love to see your fat a-s locate and dig up terminals, dig in the drop in 100 degree temperatures then run a fiber homerun outside across an attic that feels like fu----g oven then come in here and say its not much work.

AT&T has got to be the most inefficient company on the face of the earth. They throw away so much money and think nothing of it.

The wages we make are nothing compared to the tens of billions of dollars this company has wasted on mergers and acquisitions in the past couple of years.

The techs in my area work around 4 hours per day and then relax afterward. If management knew how to manage the resources, then the techs could stay busy 6-7 hours per day. The problem is management or lack of, not the workload.
