New hires - disoriented

Perhaps I would have helped the new young employee here, if only I wasn't so overwhelmed. From his example, it's become clear to me why the company is now losing its new hires very quickly.
I have been working here for many years and I would say it's never been harder to be a new hire at Dell. Agree?

@2hto+1hlXj9ld of course I can't stop listening to my coworker of 15 years talking about the site and how his job sucks

I'm a new hire and I'm getting paid to watch and listen to seasoned colleagues cry about getting paid for very little work.

Thanks for showing me the way.

half of them can't get in the building because they're not vaccinated or don't have a negative test. I see so many turned away by security.

They are pretty good, some of the new hires it's their first job so it can be a bit hard, but it's no harder than joining any other company.

Nothing's changed, I went to H-E-L-L Computers in Austin in 1998 as a new hire. I was one of 7 new hires in the department and by the end of 1999 we had all left. That place was like working at an 1899 turn-of-the-century sweatshop.
