You mention people are proud of Exxon.
Also there is the sad employees that used to be VERY proud and do not recognize this company. More sad than that is you don’t see any work been done to change that.

The guy seems genuine in his interview. I'd grab a beer with him. I do wonder how his opinion of the company will change in the next 6 or 12 months once the honeymoon period wears off.

That's an interesting take... I guess some Rockstars just aren't as Rockstar as other Rockstars in their Rockstar peer group.
They know everyone considers XOM a sh-t place to work now. They don't care if it sucks for you as long as they are getting their cake. The only reason management started echoing the working population's gripes during 2020 and early 2021 is because they became subject to the PIP. That was the only good thing about the ranking system changes.

I no longer have any pride in Exxon. I have nil engagement and am completely disenfranchised. Your behaviour over the last 2 years did this Exxon.
