IT is about innovation and you have to have exposure to industry to pick up knowledge to properly implement that innovation. But most supervisors and managers have been around for 30 years here. And they hire “yes people”. That’s the biggest problem.
Might as well get used to it cause Exxon keeps outsourcing EMIT jobs. Enjoy your wait time on the phone to India. If Exxon can outsource any job they will.
