Thank you for highlighting the statistics. In reality, no one knows how much fraud occurs, that’s why the statistics rely on proxy indicators. In this case, think about how many employees are found with COI issues relative to the rest of the corporation. While it’s not published, it tends to be < 5%. Again, the stat was for representative purposes, don’t read into it so much for you will lose sight of the bigger picture. Oh wait, you’re already there…

@3hwc+1hnxYrYw Only in EM would we get a critique of using unfounded data by using unfounded data 😁

You gotta love posts that state made up percentages of 99% to 1% without any real study information. I say this topic is closer to 45% to 52%

If "people are running up the road" to grab groceries for their family during their lunch break or in between meetings, that should be irrelevant. Think about the nights, weekends, etc that those same people contribute. THIS is called flexibility and those companies that do not provide it will be at a competitive disadvantage. XOM states they hire the sharpest talent; I think those folks can be treated as adults that can balance their lives. Again, stop thinking everyone is out to steal from the Company. 99% are contributing, 1% take a free ride. Don't become a Controller trying to Control everything!

@1lud For the umpteenth time…

Companies have been moving jobs overseas for decades, and executives have been working remotely for nearly as long.

Only the people who keep repeating what @1lud said know why they keep repeating it. The claim that WFH will accelerate outsourcing has no rational basis.

Hilarious. What % of the company do you own😂. Has nothing to do with old versus young. It’s called work ethic. D W is tired of paying people who say they WFH but in reality are probably those running up the road to HEB, Starbucks, gym etc😋

Your narrow minded view is exactly what Chairman Woods called out during the CNBC interview. It’s not “all or nothing”… if the Company wants to survive, it’s going have to adapt, which means providing flexibility to the staff. It’s people that think like you that have gotten us into this situation as a company. Leave and let the rest of us work!

If you think you can do your job from home then the company should replace you with someone in India for probably a tenth of price. They would probably do better job too since they actually have a good work ethic.

Agree with @ukm+1hnxYrYw.
Of course it depends on many factors but for most people, 2 days on average should be sufficient. Allows more deep thought work during the rest of the week and ultimately benefits the Company.

“Return to the office will never work. Period!”

The only people who want to be at the office full-time are middle-aged men with little bit more power than most of the people they work around.

I think two days per week in the office is more than enough for most most knowledge workers.
