I've been on more than a few of these data product roadshows. Bring on the vendors and their flowery sales pitches and T executives boasting how the new data platform can walk and chew gum at the same time. And you can switch programming languages within a project midstream.
Salesforce is fully integrated with Tableau, that is great. I'm sure the retail reps are having a great time using Tableau while the customers are waiting for orders to complete out of POS and provisioning systems.
This is a big data company and heavily invested in producing reports to keep executives happy. Keeping paying those vendors while nothing else happens.
