Will AT&T keep it’s headquarters in a state that has a total ban on abortion? Will it pay travel expenses for Texas employees to go to another state for an abortion and will the insurer cover it? Will employees in Texas get the same healthcare benefits as employees in Texas?

WTF? You can’t be serious.
@2odc……..Why should AT&T be required to pay your travel for an abortion? They don’t pay your travel for other procedures.
T should be required to pay for the transportation along with the cost of the abortion procedure. These are T employees, treat them as such. Time for Santone and Stankey to do the right thing and support their employees.
No. AT&T is only woke when it doesn't cost them any money.
Why is it AT&T’s responsibility to pay someone’s travel expenses for a procedure?
All I know is that since my life began at conception, I'm 9 months closer to retirement!
att should just move their headquarters to Seattle or New York and be done with it but I wonder why they won't mmmm.
If it’s your choice to go get one then you have to make the choice to pay up, why should ATT be responsible.
"Will employees in Texas get the same healthcare benefits as employees in Texas?"
yes?
Move the headquarters back to St. Louis now!
(If an AT&T employee decides their child is surplus)
This is just perfect! Am I evil if this made me laugh?
This is one of the most id--tic questions I have seen on this board. So with all the financial pressures you want the company to shutdown Dallas move all the offices to another state???? Maybe if you follow these simple instructions you might find life easier
- spread legs apart
- Remove head from A$$
- Take a deep breath
- Take a look around the world and see all the bad things going on and put them all into perspective.
If AT&T's corporate office being in Texas is still on your top 10 list, reinsert your head into your A$$...
AT&T workers do not have s-x,
Why is this topic on the lay off page?
First T is self insured. They pay someone to be the administrator. Second who cares? Is this really at the top of the important business list of things that make T profitable? Digging your heels into social issues alienates about 50% of your customers. Why would any good business want to do that?
If an AT&T employee decides their child is surplus, they are only mirroring the harsh realities that our leadership has forced on us for the past 20 years. Of course the company will pay for the travel to another state. Same as if your cancer treatment were only available in another state.
The problem is, we already let AT&T take over our personal health decisions when we let them mandate the COVID vaccine. The company is equally justified in mandating that you carry a baby to full term, to avoid the mental health risks that occur after abortion.
Will this increase in expenses lead to layoffs? Maybe, since AT&T self insures.
I suspect the announcement regarding paid travel for services that cannot be provided locally is the company’s way of providing coverage.
@euv+1hqz94dm Does that also include cancer treatments?
I got an update to my benefits stating that they will pay for travel and lodging for medical care that can not be received locally.
Santone is all about taking away benefits. She's probably happy with it.
No
What do you think!
Who cares. Stabk won't waste money on such nonsense.
Yes.
No. AT&T doesn't have the b**** to do something like that.
Yes, employees in TX will get the same healthcare benefits as employees in TX. What a weird question.
