In office early today. Overheard some C suite guys talk with amusement about a special BOD meeting. Seems odd. Is change underfoot.

There are no "blue folders". And whoever thinks HR is plotting layoffs, picking out the individual people to fire is a mo--n. HR doesn't decide who gets let go- it's all on YOU. Your manager makes recommendations based on your performance. I never understood why people think HR has such pull in deciding who gets the axe. Like they care or really know who you are.
The date has been set. It’s next week. Also anyone else besides me catch a glance of HR assembling blue folders and then placing them in a white envelope. Seems fishy kind of like layoff packages.
Don’t these guys usually have a “pull my finger” contest too? Usually toward the end after twister and the kolaches. I believe it was a close contest between Way and John Gass (hehe). Loud and Proud galore. Fireworks for Independence Day and stuff.
