Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Finally a layoff-less week

From what I can see, there were no layoffs this week. I'm guessing if nothing happened until now, nothing will happen from here on (usually they start at the beginning of the week, rarely in the middle, and even rarer on Friday). It'd be nice to know if this means we're done for the foreseeable future. I could use a month or two of not stressing over layoffs.

Earnings call is 7/15. I bet there will be more before then. Since this is all part of one program “enabling our future” I think they will have to disclose some details in earnings call or quarterly filings.

There were cuts made yesterday in consumer direct, and there’s more to come.

Could definitely see something happening today or tomorrow… seems like it is brewing, just not sure when. Haven’t seen anything in the payments group yet, which is a huge part of the bank.
