I have no doubt that Fiserv would be very happy to attract and retain talented people who will do a lot of work, but what is it doing to attract them? Nothing.
I wouldn’t like to offend anyone, but most new hires don’t have or have very poor competencies or skills. I think you'll agree that the “most talented” among the new hires the company now employs wouldn’t have come into consideration for a job here at all just a few years ago?
