Let's face it, Jim Whitehurst is bound by a Non-Compete Agreement and there's a reason for it. IBM has him recharging his batteries to take over IBM in the near future. He saved Delta and Red Hat, he's going to attempt to do that again at IBM.
I know some will say he'll never go back. I would disagree on two things. First, the challenge. Second, the money. His profile shows he's still an IBM Senior Advisor, he's coming back or he would be CEO at another company by now. When (not If) he comes back, all the legacy leadership will be gone. Clean out the corrupt.
That's IBM's only hope to survive the last two CEO idoits.
