I wish Dell would get back on track

I can't wait to leave. On the other hand, I am a bit nostalgic because I worked here for a long time, when everything was much better. The golden years will never return, but I would really like to know if there is a way to get this company back on track?

Appears that they have their agenda set to get back on track:
Dell Technologies to Hold Investor Conference Call July 21 to Discuss its ESG Strategy
Should make a huge improvement to the company with a large ROI, and with project Moonshot aligned the company has is path set “moving forward”

There is no track to get back into for the Dell trainwreck!

Dell isn’t going to get back on track unless they gut every useless middle manager (directors through SVPs) and start over. All of the good leaders who treated people like humans are long gone, replaced with mindless robots who do nothing but give feel-good speeches about stuff they don’t know anything about while treating top performers like dirt because their MBA textbook said to do it. I’m nostalgic for the fun days too, but those seem to have died with the EMC merger.

all companies were like that. Those times are gone. Join a startup where they have boatloads of money and beer Fridays.

Dell is a dinosaur with zero value.

There were never "golden years" at Dell, it has always been run like an 1899 Turn of the Century Sweatshop. In 1998 Dell recruited me, after several phone calls, and brought me to Austin. Literally after 5 weeks I was thinking "WTF did I do coming to this sweatshop". The "management" in my area was basically a Barnum & Bailey Circus Freak Show. I was one of seven new hires in a group in 1998. Fast forward, by December 1999 we had all left ! One left after six months. The place basically sucked.
