"All of you anti Ford employees on this website won't know how to respond to this good news."

Anti Ford lol. Let's do some reading, shall we?

"The auto maker’s U.S. sales were pummeled by low inventory levels in June 2021, when it reported a 27% decrease in monthly sales compared with the year-ago period."

So, 2021 was 27% lower than 2020. So in 2022, Ford caught up merely to what it was before? Well, yeah. That is good news.

"For the first six months of 2022, Ford’s U.S. sales were down 8% from a year earlier"

Oops! So even lower than in 2021? Uh oh.

"Overall, U.S. auto-industry sales in June were down 11%, according to Ford"

Oh, yeah. The new strategy is starting to unfold.

"Ford has sold about 916,000 vehicles in 2022, down from about 997,000 in the first half of 2021."

Inflation to the rescue, vehicle prices are sky high but as long as you are granted that loan.

"Ford attributed the higher sales in June to strong demand for new vehicles, with about half of retail sales coming from previously placed orders."

So these are old orders? That would mean the numbers don't reflect current situation?

" Sales of its electric vehicles rose 76.6% in June to 4,353, the company said"

4353 vehicles as better than 3334. Nice.

"with the truck line (F-series) outselling its nearest competitor by about 40,000 vehicles"

Agreed, this is in deed good news. GM says in this article they were cut short due to supply chain issues. Unclear what that means for the quality of the product.

The cadence of “good news” press releases leading up to earnings release is a sign that it wasn’t a good quarter.

Farley came in number two on race day. Never the winner.

Right. What are the before measurements they are comparing to. How many of the sales are really sitting in parking lots around Metro Detroit? Remember Ford books the sale the moment the vehicle rolls off the line.

@hgm Hey Jim, apparently after Bill changed your diaper and put you down for a nap you managed to figured out how to use a computer. Now for some easy math for you:

If Ford sells 1000 vehicles in May and then sells 1200 vehicles in June, that is a 20% increase. But when one of your competition sells 50,000 vehicles in May and then sells 55,000 vehicles in June, that is only a 10% increase.

Can you see the difference?

Yes!!! Go Ford!!!!

All of you anti Ford employees on this website won't know how to respond to this good news. You won't be able to handle a "winning strategy" brought to you by JF with results that are now backing up how great Ford business is becoming.

Obviously, Bill and Jim know exactly what they are doing and these results are proof positive.
