Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Covid for all

So we have large groups of people out on some teams currently due to Covid, however HR and SOACC they aren’t telling the people they work with that they have been exposed. Someone I know gave it to their significant others entire family after 5 people on their team were sick. Indoor events with no masking testing or tracing but we should all feel super secure coming into work and trust people to stay home when they are sick.

@8lre+1hzrdQ8S - indoors? yes. In their stupid open floor layout? yes.

give me an office with a door that I can close and a paid private parking space to not have to commute on public transportation like the people mandating RTO - and I will consider it.

Are you guys still expecting to never leave your home and never go shopping at the mall or go to the restaurants or go to church and still expect that the vaccines worked but now it won't and that the highly contagious subvariants only exist at BofA's offices?

Are you guys still expected to be in office with the highly contagious ba5 stain evading vaccines and circulating like wildfire? I hope the bank wakes up before the fall as numbers are already through the roof!

We have the return of the member who can't post without using the whine word. It was only a matter of time. Feel glad you haven't buried any friends or had family or friends deal with long covid and disability. Not everyone is going out back to normal as accused. Some still take precautions and have avoided infection. Vulnerable people still don't go to restaurants and parties, and forcing them RTO without precaution, tracing, and notifications is reckless on the bank's part.

You have some serious issues. I was joking about the aggressive use of nonsense, and also about TB. I never compared, I don’t know why you are so angry about my request for transparency when it comes to my concern for my health and the my employers disregard for that. You make a lot of assumptions, I’m sure that works out well for you in life. Now I’m going to move on with my life. Have a good one and maybe lighten up.

@1txi+1hzrdQ8S sounds like you're the one triggered. Y'all are the id--ts, no point of arguing with lazy d-mb azzes who don't want to work and just be on corporate welfare. Bless your heart.

The issue is BOFA is not being responsible and not willing to change with the new environment. The reason for hiring H1 Visa is only because of cost, that’s it. That’s been in the works for years. Not even COVID related.
The campuses they “remodeled” was just putting lipstick on a pig. They are still dirty and remodeled on the cheap.
They want people in the office so they can start the layoff process.
All you can do is either hang in there and wait it out or leave the bank. It’s not going to get better so it’s up to you to go in keep your head down put in your 8 hours and get out

@1cfw+1hzrdQ8S Whoa there triggered. Sorry you work in a dept they don’t need you in, but I do. Also trips to Europe? Who are you? People just want to be informed of someone they sit next to came to work with a contagious virus, that’s all. You be mad about it. Have fun with your travels and ball games that seem to make you so happy and covid free you feel the need to scream and strangers online.

So, what y'all are saying is that after 2 years, y'all haven't gone to grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks, picnics and bbqs, ballgames, your bff's bachelorette and bachelor parties, weddings, little Susie and Jack's birthday/christening/bar and bat mitzvahs, flown in a plane, taken a trip to Europe or Caribbean yet you refused to Return to Office because somehow the BoA's offices are a cesspool of CV-19 where it thrives and BoA's employees are the only one who are infected and carriers and transmitters of the virus?

If you're vaccinated and boosted and masked, what are you worried about?
Oh right, that's because none of those work.

Wonder why they outsource or bring H1B visas for your job?

I agree.

There are a few of us that are normal, and a whole lot of Krazy Karens it seems, that are gigaboosted, just have the vackseen on an IV drip the whole day, walk around in a hazmat suit, and are still scared out of their minds.

Funny enough, you know who hasn't had COVID? Me. You know who hasnt touched a mask in 2 years? Me. You know who hasn't and won't get any of these vackseens? Me.

Cue the triggered purple hair yelling to imprison me.

This is very irresponsible for BOA to purposely tell employees not tell any one they have been exposed to covid 19. It was mentioned in the news recently that repeated infections of covid 19 has caused some people to suffer permanent damage to their overall health. This company doesn't care about you or your family health. All of this falls on our coward azz CEO BM. He will just hold his phony azz conference calls from his basement.

People complaining because they got the, sniffles, cold, flu, boo,-f---in'hoo. Covid will be part of our life, it doesnt matter if you've been triple vaccinated and quadrupled boosted, and wear KN95 mask and in a lockdown forever, you will get Covid, Zero Covid is not attainable, just look at China. Get real and stop whining and get back to work or just give up your jobs to Bangladesh.

This company is not even following OSHA guidelines on Covid 19. I am reporting this information to media outlets as we speak.

I am going to report this problem to my lawyer and see what lawsuits we can bring against this company. This don't tell anybody you caught covid and exposed them is troubling. I will seek out all legal action against this company.

I caught covid and unbeknownst to me, I gave it to others. When I came back from my covid leave, the two people I spread it to were out. But the others that sit near me were not told, and they were upset that BOA didn’t tell them that they had been exposed. There is no social distancing, and masks aren’t required.

Associates are being watched as to why they aren’t RTO. It’s unfortunate the bank doesn’t realize this. People are still getting COVID and the bank keeps pushing. Very sad

Under no circumstances can BofA be trusted, especially regarding the well being of their employees. Any instance where it appears they are doing something to benefit their employees, they aren't. The ONLY reason they do/offer anything is for their benefit alone otherwise they wouldn't bother.
