Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

If you had an option, would you move tomorrow?

What would make you move? More money? WFH/Remote/Hybrid work?

No outsourcing?

Less politics?

Remain remote/hybrid with closer office/reason to be in office (team members there). Less to 0 JP managers, would even take a pay cut for this.

ALL it took for me to leave a 23 year career at Wells Fargo was my 3-up and 2-up insistence that I was not worthy of a Meets even though my direct manager said that’s what she wanted to give me. Keep in mind neither my 2-up or 3-up ever witnessed my performance…it’s all B.S. from the Charles Schart people. Fu(k ‘em, I got a way better job outside of financial. 22% increase, always remote, matched my PTO too. Best day of my life was the day I quit.

I’m fine with the current hybrid approach. More money with same responsibilities, more learning opportunities, and I’d jump. I’m pretty content right now, so haven’t looked around.

Easy ..money. The rest is out of your control for the most part. Your salary is usually your salary.
