It actually does apply outside of VBG. Same ish in VBG. At least for non sales roles.
COVID restrictions seem to have made people forget this was pretty common pre-covid.
There are a few specially approved hires getting through but what this person said is generally true, we are in a hiring freeze. If you aren't in VCG this doesn't apply to you. And I've seen a few hires special approved in VCG too.
We are hiring a contractor.
Leadership poor decisions - we all pay for there stupidity in the end. Having enough manpower to get work done is already hard.
