Today IBM terminated all the people working on a certain project after telling them they wouldn’t do that until December. What a load of cr-p

Layoffs are coming... IBM is just waiting for people to come back from vacation as the schools restart across the US. So, later this month (August) or early September we should hear about RAs and a significant reduction in costs.
When I was RA'd in 2015 they gave me 60 day notice cause of a client project. Client postponed the project for 3 weeks. Management was in a panic to get me extended for full 6 months notice IBM still does not know what they are doing
So….. there were no layoffs.
A project they had sold to persistent systems years ago and had recently bought back.
Which project was this? Details please.
