Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

no remote options

It’s been proven my department can work 100% remote, yet we’re not offered any flexibility. All time has to be done in office and our laptops are locked to our desks. Sign up for a 10hr shift/4days a week? You can’t Flex Time at all. I can’t move 5 hours from one day and come in on my day off. Flexed time has to be worked that day. This is nonsense.
Customers call in and complain about hour plus wait times. I wouldn’t bank here and I’m tempted to seek employment elsewhere. I’m undervalued af.

Probably hoping employees will quit first due to RTO. Then lay off the rest who insists on staying and actually RTO.

Are you saying that if you have to go to the bathroom outside of the two breaks and one lunch we’re required to take then they force you to use sick time? If so that’s crazy & honestly sounds like something they’ll be sued for down the line. Do you work in a call center?

To @hug+1i34m48Q , what department do you work in that makes you use sick time to use the restroom?? I too work from home, not enforced to rto, but NO such rule about that has ever been handed down.

Wells Fargo going strong in Digital. Lots of great work, join us in!! Worth the work life balance, managers define rules and choose to enforce the RTO

I do work from home for BOA- with the requirement of working every Saturday. They claim to offer “flex” time but if you request it will be denied every time. They took our paid holidays- only get 2 per year now. I can not leave my desk to use the restroom. If so we have to use sick time. Everyday more ridiculous expectations added. I feel a layoff coming for those that do work from home.

You signed up for 4 10 hour days and you want to do 3 10s and 2 5s? Was that an option? If not, it’s time for you to find another job if you’re unhappy.
