The 2021 VSSP was offered in July 2021. The deadline to accept was September 2nd and the last day worked was October 31. If they do a voluntary in 2022: It can be offered in August, deadline to accept can be October 1st, and last day worked November 30th. Still in time for a December 1st retirement date, for those that are retirement eligible. It's the right thing for the company to do after all this recent BS, NDAS and blatant lack of caring for employees. Do the right thing.

If that's the case, it's a GTFOH "offer", then it's no offer at all, it's just severance. An offer you can refuse, a severance you cannot.

Not going to happen. The cuts are too deep and Ford as a corporation needs to rip the band aid off. I agree 100% that voluntary should come first. But my gut says no. Particularly since it has been done a few times over the last few years. And yes, the interest rates should provide more incentive to take the offer, but not nearly enough are in that boat. And have heard it's going to be ugly. It's going to be a GTFOH "offer" and not a VSSP. Sadly

Ford had voluntary offers in 2020 (VIP) and in 2021 (VSSP), time for 2022 (VEP) voluntary exit program. Just do it.
It was even word for word on our ford behaviors, do the right thing. Will ford do the right thing?
