Anyone get in trouble for working from home full time and not going into the office?

I don't think Covid is a consideration anymore.

Full disclosure: I wasn't feeling well, and I tested positive for Covid on Tuesday. My partner was feeling fine, but tested at the same time I did. They tested positive too.

I would not have gone into the office just on principle of not wanting to make somebody else sick. But my partner would not have known they had it.

Management doesn't seem to be thinking this thing through very well. Or maybe they just don't care.

WFH pre COVID and still doing it. No problems as I get work done.

Our Director sent an email to the entire team reminding us that the expectation is 3 days per week in the office and if you aren't going to hit that, you need to provide your manager with an explanation.

Scott P is receiving a dashboard of how many times employees badge in and badge out. They are also tracking what time in the morning you badge in. Total sh-t show. We are required to be in the office 10 times a month and those who do not comply.

@3zqf+1i4KzMRf This is because you haven’t seen those reports. Managers get the “bottom line” reporting but there are others.

Assigned location is not an issue now unless you are showing up outside your “home” state - or country for that matter.

I got a very gentle email from my manager asking me to try to up my average days in the office from 2 to 3 per week. They are looking closing (in my area at least) at the percentages of people who are coming in 0 times and those coming in 3 times. Most of the focus is on the people who are not coming in at all.
No evidence from the reporting that I've seen that they are tracking hours in the office, matching it up with IP addresses, or anything else more advanced than "how many times did this person badge into their assigned location?" I'm sure that data is being collected, but right now, the focus is on the big picture...

In areas with high attrition and/or many positions that aren’t getting filled (because this place sucks and so does RTO) no one is monitoring. No way lack of compliance with RTO will impact bonuses. My group can’t afford to lose another person.
Some groups are testing two days a week in the office instead of three.

Years worth of gas at $4/gal > 2% raise.

In CIB we had an employee forced to either come in or quit and he quit. Worked in FX rates. Was an admin so maybe that is why? Hourly?

I know of two people who were talked to about not going in at all. The length of time spent in office hasn't appeared to become an issue at this point.

If you are a manager it is ok.

it will impact your bonus at year end. those who do not go in will be negatively graded, as non compliant

Yes, they are. If you don't go in, the RTO police show up at your house. They are driving electric smart cars with the WF logo on it so you know it's them.

For tracking, are they tracking if people go in once a week or ensuring people go all 3?

I haven't gone into an office. I'm hoping that they say something because I'm 75 miles from the nearest WF location.

Actually one person on my team was "talked to" because she had never gone in since the RTO started. The ngr said she was on the report since she had never gone in...but that was all they were traking at this point.

Nope. Nor have I heard of anyone anywhere getting in trouble. The topic simply never comes up anymore.
